MORE INFO

Stretch & Stabilise is designed with no floor work and no impact training, so that it’s easier to stay away from joint pain when you need to. Sections of the class exercise programmes change weekly to provide variation allowing time to heal if you do get muscle aches. Some rotations may seem difficult on the surface, but they can be performed slowly where pain or other conditions are involved. A primary reason for me to start this class was to create an environment where people can do something rather than nothing, where some people will sit some sections out and others might sit out a different section. At the class’s core, I encourage people to maintain at their own level, as everyone has their own difficulties and work in a space where you don’t feel pressure to continue a movement if you feel uncomfortable.

Classes in planning phase:

Semi-Seated Stretch & Stabilise

A lighter version of Stretch & Stabilise for people closer to an operation date or with more physical balance or coordination vulnerabilities.

Lift & Stabilise

A slightly more difficult class aimed at the same group of people but focussed more on strength. This class will use barbells, dumbbells, bands and performing other resistance work.
