We run dedicated fitness classes called Stretch & Stabilise at variety of venues and times including; St. Albans Marshalswick Community Centre, Greenwood Park Community Centre, Harpenden Park Hall, and Redbourn Village Hall. Specially designed to improve 50 plus flexibility, joint stability, and overall mobility, this class is for people with lower fitness levels or joint issues but is also scalable, so your effort level and your joint’s tolerance to intensity can make it as hard or easy as you like.
This class blends guided stretching with targeted stabilisation work to help reduce the risk of falls, increase the chance of you getting off the floor if you ever needed to, ease muscle tension, and support better movement in everyday life and overall longevity. We include stretches, strengthening, balance, the heart and lungs, coordination and light agility. Whether you're recovering from an injury, managing a desk-bound lifestyle, or simply want to move better, this session is built to meet you where you are.

No, this class is mainly for people who don’t consider themselves very fit. But the types of exercises we use is scalable, so you can make it harder for yourself as you become fitter.

No, you don’t need to get on the floor at any point, but some of our training tries to get you stronger and more flexible. With consistency, it will be possible to achieve getting to or off the floor, in case you fell for example and find yourself on the floor against your will.

There is lots of free parking in the Community Centre car park, the Quadrant and surrounding areas. So shouldn’t have much trouble finding a space
