Helping More People Move Better

Number 1 Athlete

AgeZing

At Number 1 Athlete our Mission is to create the most affective physical exercise for people who worry about falls. Our signature class Stretch & Stabilise offers an affordable option to helping you keep fit, when you feel as though you are too unfit to exercise.

Stretch & Stabilise

Our sit-stand joint pain class - For over 50’s who struggle with floor exercises and want to manage joint pain while improving strength, balance and mobility. This friendly community class offers expert guidance, scalable exercises and one-on-one support through gentle, effective exercises designed to help you move with confidence and comfort.

Consistency and variation with a wholistic approach to training that covers, fall mitigation, getting back off the floor if you are unfortunate enough to end up there, posture, joint care, and longevity markers like strength, and VO2 Max (your heart and lungs). We also cover movement coordination which contributes to balance and brain health.

From time to time, people get injuries and struggle to come back to classes. This is where we are proud to be in collaboration with AgeZing Physiotherapy & Movement, as well as offering Physiotherapy for the worst injuries and joint issues, they offer a semi private Pilatchi class & Gate Assessment.

Physiotherapy

As physiotherapists, AgeZing specialise in the treatment of joint and muscular injuries for a wide range of conditions

Gate Assessment

To get a better idea of whats happening in real time with the way you move, a Gate Assessment can be a great eye-opener into what specific movement patterns you should focus on, which make it easier to iron out imbalance and weakness in your muscles and joints.

Experience a world-leading 10-minute digital walking assessment. Whether you want to walk confidently without the fear of falling or need a precise mobility assessment, GaitSmart provides the answers. You don’t have to accept poor mobility as just a part of ageing. GaitSmart identifies exactly what is wrong with your walking and offers a simple, personalised plan to address these issues.

Pilachy

Pilatchi is a unique blend of Tai Chi and Pilates using resistance bands, making it a calming, low-impact way to build strength, core stability, flexibility, balance, and posture — suitable for rehabilitation, home physiotherapy needs, or simply as a fun new form of exercise for all fitness levels. Sessions are available one-to-one or in small classes of up to four people for a more social experience, with a choice of band strength so every ability level can take part.
